Constant errors: "sysquery: no addrs found for root NS"

I'm not sure why the behavior would change from 8.2.2-p7 to 8.2.3, but "no addrs found for root NS" usually means that your hints file is missing one or more A records, or you're trying to use an Internet hints file without having any access to the Internet root nameservers.

In either case, it seems likely that your hints file is implicated. What does it look like?

Maybe the behavior *hasn't* changed. Maybe the problem's always been there but a subtle change to the logging categories and/or severities is now making it visible.

                                                                                                                                        - Kevin
