rndc & reload zones

At least you can HUP your 9.1.0 named. When I do a "killall -HUP named" (RH
7.0) named just stops. No core, no messages, no logs. Just up and dies
without a trace. go figure.

Other than that, I haven't experienced a single problem with 9.1.0 but still
won't run it in production due to the reports I've seen here.

The same happens when we HUP named. It just does not reload zones with
changed serial. We have three different machines (different linux
distributions, different kernles) with this problem. Logfiles do not tell
anything usable. It's very strange behavior. Any ideas?

It all started after switching from bind 8.2.2 to 9.1.0
