Subject: Client Browser DNS lookup behavior with Round-Robin DNS

I'm working on a project where we have setup a round-robin DNS server farm
and have noticed that IE5/NN4 perform a DNS lookup once, then use that IP
address for all further requests that we can see. Our assumption then is
that IE5/NN4 are caching the IP address. My question is, under what
conditions is the DNS lookup performed again?

Sincerely,

Rob McArthur
