Slaves

         Did you search your system for the files just in case it put them
   elsewhere?  Also don't use the "Program Files" subdirectories in case
   the software messed up on the space character.  The Installer doesn't
   put it there by default.  Try creating a d:\Bind\etc directory and have
   named.conf point there.

         Is the slave responding authoratively to the host names in the domain?
   What does dig tell you?
