NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!  I'm not going to go into any more detail, since the
explanation of why that is wrong is posted here or
comp.protocols.tcp-ip.domains at least once a week.

The way to do it is with:

kennety.net.    IN      A         192.168.47.1
