Strange DNS lookup behavior

Hi folks

Anyone have any thoughts on why I cannot query
www.adaptec.com from my primary DNS server? From nslookup I
can query their MX records, do reverse lookups, but cannot
resolve www, ftp, or download.adaptec.com.

nslookups using another server, ns1.rcn.com, resolv the
addresses just fine. I can ping the IP address of
www.adaptec.com. Any thoughts?

My primary server is k9.magothy.com
