2.4 kernel and bind 8.2.3 - REL.

Anyone else finding that the "NEW" linux kernel 2.4 is not all it is said 
to be...?
It seems to be more microsoft like... (needs double swap file now?)
8.2.3 did not like it at first, but calmed down. -:)
