Easy question

I just took over as manager and I am not really familar with Bind.  However my engineers are having some problems.  We are running two DNS servers with Free BSD 4.25??? and have updated to Bind version 8.2.3.  We are trying to get a Windows 2000 domain server to talk to the DNS boxes.  We would if possible some instructions that I can pass on to my guys on how to make the two work.  Thanks
