[Q]having problems with sdb in bind-9.1.x

Hi ..
I've been trying hard to compile sdb files in /bind-9.1.x/contrib/sdb/ 
But, never got successful.. 
is there anyone who solves these problems ?

one of major error messages was linking header files.

$gcc -o dirdb dirdb.c

error code : no search files or directories 
"globals.h , config.h"

Even though i put those in the correct directory.
(where dirdb located)
compiler popped out the errors.

help me out experts..
