problems with transfers

Hi.  I"m running bind 9.1.0 on two machines, on the master, one the slave.
The slave server is having problems getting the db files for some of the
newer domains.  message: recieving response: NOAUTH.

I thought it might be a problem with all the domains, but I deleted the
db file for an older one, and restarted named, and it pulled down the old
on, but still choked on the newer ones.  Is there a maximum transfer limit
I might be hitting?  Any ideas?
