Ping problem using Bind9.1 r2

Hi, all

I face this problem when the named daemon(for Bind9.1
r2) is running ..

I will have difficulty pinging/telneting  other
machines. Other machines can still ping the machine
running named daemon
If the named daemon is not running , it is all right
to do the neccessary pinging/telneting . 

Can anyone give me a clue as to what is going on ??
