Interesting story.

and contrary to my curmudionly attitude today, I'm all over v9
and am running everywhere... but I was always a bleeding edge kind of
guy.  The v4 and v8 code are still running, in the compatability lab 
along with djbdns, the microsoft code & (at random intervals) the
cisco & lucent stuff.

the key is interoperability...  and I wish that others would support
some of the new features so we aren't "stuck" with a single source
tree.
