So far as I can tell, because BIND version 9 is in a different
directory hierarchy than all previous versions of BIND, this site
does not include a mirror of the BIND 9 material.

Note that the BIND version 9 stuff is under
<ftp://ftp.dei.uc.pt/pub/isc/bind9/> and
<http://ftp.dei.uc.pt/pub/isc/bind9/>.

These are actually symbolic links into the directory hierarchy
<ftp://ftp.cdu.elektra.ru/Mirrors/ftp.isc.org/>. The BIND version 9
stuff is underneath
<ftp://ftp.cdu.elektra.ru/Mirrors/ftp.isc.org/bind9/>.

I have never been able to successfully connect to this machine.

This subdirectory does not exist on this server. As best I can
tell, this machine does not mirror any ISC content whatsoever.

Note that this machine does not mirror the BIND version 9
hierarchy, only the older BIND versions 4 and 8.

This URL needs to be corrected. It actually is
<ftp://ftp.ripe.net/mirrors/sites/ftp.isc.org/>, and this is the
machine where I recently downloaded a copy of BIND version 9.1.2 for
myself.

This URL is not correct. Indeed,
<ftp://ftp.nl.uu.net/pub/unix/news/servers/inn/> appears to simply be
a symbolic link to <ftp://ftp.nl.uu.net/pub/mirrors/ftp.isc.org/inn/>.

> ftp://ftp.nl.uu.net/pub/unix/dns/bind9

These URLs are not correct. There is no "dns" subdirectory under
<ftp://ftp.nl.uu.net/pub/unix/>.

> ftp://ftp.nl.uu.net/pub/unix/dhcp

This is just a symbolic link to
<ftp://ftp.nl.uu.net/pub/mirrors/ftp.isc.org/dhcp/>.

Please note, these are the only URLs I checked. The others that
were in the original list and which I have omitted, I did not attempt
to validate. These were just the ones I suspected might be wrong, or
otherwise wanted to make specific mention of.
