Can't access the internet

If you were trying to ping a machine by name and getting "host unknown",
then this might have been a DNS problem. But since you are pinging by
address and getting "Destination net unreachable", this almost certainly
is *not* a DNS problem.

How much do you understand about Internet routing protocols? The
information you have provided so far (basically just 2 IP addresses and
a "Destination net unreachable" message) is nowhere near enough to
troubleshoot your problem. I'd work on collecting more information about
your network routing infrastructure before asking this question on some
other list. Otherwise, you're likely to get rude responses or no
responses at all. Or, even better, if there is someone more
knowledgeable about such matters at your site, ask them first before
posting to public lists.
