how to compile a bind 8.25

hello there im very new with all taht stuff, but i undertstud
how to compile a suourcecode with the make utility.
and so i did it with bind 8.25.(bind-src.tar.gz)
but after a certain time the gcc repotrs an error because he cant fint a certain thing in some direectory.

/usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lfl

so whats my problem?
