Local domain appended to 2 domains only

I doubt that's BIND appending "localdomain.com."  It's
much more likely the application looking up www.schwab.com.
Doesn't the host at 192.168.10.11 have "localdomain.com" in
its search list?

Very old versions of BIND 4 had the ability to do what you're
talking about, using the domain directive in named.boot.
