	Maybe, maybe not.  But there are so many problems with earlier 
versions of BIND that the odds of us (or anyone else) being able to 
help you are just about nil, if you don't upgrade to the latest 
available version.

	If upgrading doesn't help, then come back and now that the cruft 
will be cleared away, we can try to do further debugging of the issue 
with you.
