That's putting it mildly. I'd say ``downright stupid.''

What you are seeing is the latency for two completely different network
routes. Packets from here take over 300ms to reach ns.crynwr.com, and
only 25ms to reach angel.heaven.net.

The response time of DNS server software, whether it's tinydns or BIND,
is on a vastly smaller scale, and will never be detectable by this type
of test.
