odd problems with named-xfer.

Hi there,


i am experiencing a strange problem with zone transfers.

my primaries are sending a NOTIFY when the Serial changes, but my
secondaries are not triggering a named-xfer of the domain until at least 24
hours later. This doesn't strike me as proper practice, as i would expect
the secondaries to immediately attempt to perform a transfer of the domain.

Both my servers are running 8.2.3, the NOTIFY's can be seen in the logs on
the secondary server.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
