DHCPACK on old IP address

Hi everybody,

Moving my laptop (win98) to an other subnet, I still received the old ip =
address.
Of course winipcfg/release - renew helps, but it should be able to do =
without this.
The dhcp log looks like:

The server is authoritive for all subnets. How comes?
