You are trying to use a fairly old bind-9 . I'm not claiming that 
your problems is caused by this fact, i do however feel that 
there is a certain probability that an upgrade to "current release"
might either solve your problems or at least get the attention to others
running the same code. Running old code is a field where you get lonesome.
