Experienced in what? MSCE is not a substitute for experience.
Try adding a
server NT4-iup-addr {
transfer-format one-answer;
};
statement to your named.conf on your BIND 9 server or have him
upgrade to BIND on his NT box. See the ARM for details of the
transfer-format statement. The NT box probably can't handle the
default many-answers format.
