nslint is useful in some circumstances as well, and one of the
few tools to check the files before loading.
The main use is ensuring forward and reverse lookups match up
nicely, which helps catch typos, but can be a tad inflexible for
some configurations. Quite a lot of tools will do this after
you've loaded up the incorrect data which is great if you have a
hidden master.
