i was told (by one of their staff members) that soon they will not be
listing IP addresses for nameservers, and they will be taking that bit
out of the template.

i'm not sure, but i'm assuming it's because the root or GTLD servers are
usually authoritative for the zone that they're creating children in;
reverse records are in in-addr.arpa.

i'm not sure if i phrased it correctly, but i think you get what i'm
saying.

if you dig at one of the servers authoritative for ARIN's space, you'll
see that there are no glue records present.

the errant host entry shouldn't be a problem though.  the one that
matters is the one defined by the registrar of the domain that the host
is in.
