Subject: [Newbie Question] Copying config files to different flavors
of
linux

Hi, new to this NG... Anyway, if i set up bind on my home computer
(which uses Mandrake Linux) and copy the config files to the lab
computer at my school (which uses Debian Linux), would bind work
without a hitch (assuming i keep the same directory structure and
keep
all the ip addresses/dns names constant)? Basically i want to set up
a Bind server at the computer lab, but i have to do some of the work
at home.
