I believe in BIND8 you'll have to do "ndc restart", there is no =
functionality (that I'm aware of) to do this on a per record basis.

You should also try using the dig utility.  It will show you the TTL on =
the cached record, and therefore how much longer you have to wait before =
the TTL times out and you look up the record again.
