Problem with statistics-interval

As I know, the statistics result added on syslog file not specifc,
user-defined "named.stats" file. And the format also different 
from each other.

1) Here is a sample of named.stats

Maybe you could find statistics messages in syslog file every 15 minutes.
In order to do as you want, how about send "-ILL" signal by cron table?
It's simple but not so bad.

Does anyone have a better idea? ;)
