Did you check your application event log for errors? If you don't have
a named.conf then you need to create one.  If you have a named.boot
you can convert it using the named-bootconf.pl perl script that you will
find in the binary kit.  Otherwise look at http://bind8nt.meiway.com/ for
some details of setting things up. It's a little old but it should get you
started.
