nslookup does not verify reply ip address source

I have done some basic tests, after the problem I have faced today. I
had problem with one of our web hosting services, since I have changed
the default namservers in /etc/resolv.conf and verify successfully with
the nslookup command. Successfully as per the nslookup :-), but not as
per the system resolver. After some snoop sessions I saw that the reply
is coming back with different not translated private ip address
(mistakenly). Nslookup behaves like no problem at all, but in fact it
was. I tried bind9 dig and nslookup are fine and report unexpected
source, but any solaris 8 or bind 8.3.4 are fine and dont report anything.
