Yep. Looking further at the logs, I see that bind was starting up 
thinking it had 4 cpus, but there's are only 2 (hyperthreading). 
RedHat's 2.4.xx kernel seems to think there are 4 CPUs (in the APIC 
table). This doesn't _seem_ to be causing any other problems, but I'm 
not sure it's correct. -n 1 fixed it for bind.
