Bind 9.2.2-P3: "error sending response: unexpected error"

I just upgraded to Bind 9.2.2-P3 and have suddenly started getting
hundreds of errors like this:

Sep 24 14:31:30 www named[30488]: client 127.0.0.1#2308: error sending response: unexpected error

I searched the web and the newsgroup archives but have not been able to
find any good information on determining what is triggering this message
or what can be done to prevent it.  Does anybody have any idea?
