BIND problems!

one of the many good things about BIND9 is its "named-checkzone" command,
which can tell you if a zone is loadworthy, and its "named-checkconf" command,
which can tell you if an entire configuration (including all zones) is
loadworthy. both commands send their output to stderr rather than syslog.

if you are still running BIND8 you should give BIND9 a try. 9.3.0 (beta2
plus its patch1, sorry) or 9.2.4rc1 should be nearly drop-in replacements
for BIND8. and we're accepting bug reports for any problems encountered
while trying to use BIND9 as a dropin for BIND8, so, don't be shy.
