Anycast...any one using it on IP4

yes.  f-root, for example.  see http://www.isc.org/pubs/tn/ for background.

how about ultradns?  they still advertise anycast, and they serve .ORG w/ it.

i have two questions.

1. was that before or after the acquisition of "bechtel's genuity" and
   their load-balanced (noncoherent) anycast?

2. is "gte's genuity"'s authoritative dns anycast system load-balanced
   (noncoherent) or is it just for load-sharing/redundancy these days?
