rrset-order

 [ rrset-order { order_spec ; [ order_spec ; ... ] ]

rrset-order defines the order in which multiple records of the same type are
returned. RRSET-ORDER IS NOT YET IMPLEMENTED IN BIND 9. Current BIND
implementations return multiple records using a random-cyclic order (the
starting address is randomly chosen and thereafter round-robin order).

The full specification of rrset-order is defined for future interest only.
An 'order_spec' is defined as:

 [ class class_name ][ type type_name ][ name "domain_name"]
      order ordering

--xx----------

This is what I found about it. I am not sure this has been taken care of or
not.

Some one might pipe in.

Good luck.

Zakaria

Subject: bind 9 and rrset

Whe we upgraded our dns servers from 8 to bind 9, we lost the rrset
funcionality.
sortlist is too complicated and disables round robin. Do we have a rrset
patch or something for Bind 9.2.3 ?
Thanks,
