Server hosting domains, resolving to different IP depending on whether internal or external?

Hey,

I'm not really sure what to describe what I want to as, which is
probably why I've had no luck searching for it!

I'm running a Linux server which shares my internet connection, and is
also acting as a DNS server for both the local machines, and as a
nameserver for a domain I own.

Currently, asking the DNS server for the IP of the domain I own results
in the external IP address being returned. This is great for external
users, but means that anyone internal to my network cannot connect to
the domain.

Is it possible to have named resolve a domain to an external IP from
anyone except a specific internet subnet, where it uses a different file
to resolve to the internal IP?

Sorry to be vague!

Thanks,

Alexis.
