Why use Forwarders?

Or if you have a mixture of domains, some of whose delegators are on
the public Internet, and don't want to or can't delegate to the
"internal" versions of the internal domains.  (Like, internal isc.org
vs. external isc.org, if say isi.edu were on the same private internet.
Perhaps a bad specific example, as isc.org may have some influence with
.org.  ;-])
