Barry,

The servers from zone mnc001.mcc208.gprs are from an other mobile operator
and we don't know how the servers look like.

Here is a printout of the nslookup

GS1[kuite002]# nslookup
Default Server: GS1.gv-C1
Address: 0.0.0.0

> server 145.7.74.14
Default Server: [145.7.74.14]
Address: 145.7.74.14

> orange.fr.mnc001.mcc208.gprs
Server: [145.7.74.14]
Address: 145.7.74.14

*** [145.7.74.14] can't find orange.fr.mnc001.mcc208.gprs: Server failed
> server 145.7.74.15
Default Server: NS2.mnc008.mcc204.gprs
Address: 145.7.74.15

> orange.fr.mnc001.mcc208.gprs
Server: NS2.mnc008.mcc204.gprs
Address: 145.7.74.15

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: orange.fr.mnc001.mcc208.gprs
Addresses: 212.234.96.25, 212.234.96.89

Rob

So we're talking about these records:

What does the mnc001.mcc208.gprs zone look like on the authoritative
servers for the subdomain (ns1.mnc001.mcc208)? My guess is that the NS
and/or A records on that server are different.
