check-names and named-checkzone on 9.3.0

Hello,
 
I've been trying to find information about check-names on bind 9.3.0 and
named-checkzone on 9.3.0.
 
I'm wondering why named-checkzone doesn't complain about things that the
implemented option check-names can make bind fail on? I understand that
check-names could be switched off (or rather ignored), but I'm qurious
to why it's handeled like this. Or are there some options to
named-checkzone that I've overlooked?
