Performance/load testing from windows?

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to give our BIND-server a load-/stress-test.
At first I wrote a small perl script, but the only way I could think
of to generate large amounts of parallel queries was by using Threads
which turns out to more of a stress-test for my desktop-machine (which runs
NT4.0 in case it matters)

Now I am looking for alternatives. queryperf gets mentioned fairly often,
but it does not seem to available for windows...
a) Do I have to give up all hope on queryperf for windows?[1]
b) Are there alternatives?

[1] The nameserver runs on z/OS, queryperf does not seem to be available there, either...
