manually insert record into BIND cache

Greetings,

I'm wondering if there's any way to "manually" insert a record into BIND's
cache?  Perhaps via an existing command-line utility?  I'm running BIND
9.2.3 on Solaris 9.

I have the need to force a single A record of a zone I am not
authoritative for to be a specific value.  For example, rather than have
www.yahoo.com resolve to 1.2.3.4 I want BIND to say it is 6.7.8.9.

/etc/hosts is not an option here, and forwarding doesn't seem to meet my
needs either.  Also, this is not for HTTP redirection.

Any pointers will be appreciated.
