Problem with BIND DNS and AD

In addition to what Kevin Darcy responded --

I am not sure exactly what your configuration is and what you are
attempting.  Your W2k3 AD server has no problems with its DDNS
registrations to your BIND server.  Exactly what are you trying to do
with the W2k server?  I am not sure what you mean by

     a test to see it it can add it self to the domain

Are you trying to have this W2k server self-register in the BIND server?
Are you expecting other DDNS activity?  What is the EventID?
Do you have self-registration disabled in the TCP/IP properties?
Or via a group policy (246804)?
