Is '.local' officially defined/reserved ?

 Simon,

RFC 2606 (ftp://ftp.rfc-editor.org/in-notes/rfc2606.txt) defines the
following as reserved TLD's:

.test
.example
.invalid
.localhost

Subject lines says it all really. I've tried Google, and also searching on
Icanns website, but the searches all drop the '.' and find anything with
'local' in it - not very helpful !
