qmail issue

Ok. How could I decrease my response to 500 byte? What the qmails ask 
from my BIND which is more than 500 byte? A simple response to an MX query 
could be more than 500 byte? Or what? I am really confused by this issue 
and can not belive it is an impossible misson.
