Mysterious Named Log Message

I keep getting the message, "named[1633]: ns_resp: 
query(pop.east.cox.net) No possible A RRs."  When I run dig or host 
manually with that domain name I don't get that message.  I even did it 
in a tight loop for a while.  What could be causing it?  It seems to 
happen as a result of fetchmail polling my POP account every 15 seconds.
Earlier I was getting a "possible loop" warning until I commented out 
the following lines:

    #       forward first;
    #       forwarders {
    #               68.100.16.25;
    #               68.100.16.30;
    #       };

Any ideas?
