You might want to reconsider that. Lots of common stuff has the substring "nis" in its name. On my system I'd lose stuff relating to Spanish, Finnish and Danish locales, and all the source code relating to my synchronisation of DNS and DHCP, not to mention bits and bobs like finished.wav.

On the whole, I'd recommend dumping the results of find to a file, checking the file, then running the file through xargs...
