9.3.1 crash

Hi -

You are using BIND 9.3.1 on RHEL-3 - did you build it yourself ?

If so, you may not have installed the /usr/sbin/rndc program in the
same location, and be still using the rndc from BIND 9.2.4 .

If you run 'rndc' without any arguments, what is the last 'Version:' line ?

I've built BIND 9.3.1 RPMs for RHEL-3 with our Red Hat .spec file on our
build servers, and this is available
from:
  http://people.redhat.com/~jvdias/BIND/RHEL-3/9.3.1/
This release is compatible with the Red Hat BIND layout, and you should
have no problems when upgrading from 9.2.4 or any previous Red Hat BIND release.

Please try this version and let me know if you still have any problems with it.

Thanks & Regards,
Jason Vas Dias
Red Hat BIND package maintainer
