9.3.0 crashing on reload sometimes.

I am getting a odd problem of bind 9.3.0 crashing when I do a reload.
The servers are setup as part of a slave pool for around 20,000 domains and
they also handle a few cache queries. Every half hour I reload them
(staggered) to pick up new zones that have been added, I run
named-checkconfig and named-checkzone on all configs before reloading.

What is happening is that every now and then one or more of the servers will
die with the following error:

xx-Oct-2005 xx:46:23.211 loading configuration from '/etc/named.conf'
xx-Oct-2005 xx:46:23.279 interfaceiter.c:171: REQUIRE((((iter) != 0)
&& (((const isc__magic_t *)(iter))->magic == ((('I') << 24 | ('F') <<
16 | ('I') << 8 | ('T')))))) failed
xx-Oct-2005 xx:46:23.279 exiting (due to assertion failure)

Checking the files gives no errors and often only one of the servers die
when each is loading the same config. Crashes are happening on maybe 1 out
of a thousand reloads. There is no obvious connection with load nor zones
being changed. Unlike the above sometimes it dies several seconds into the
reload.

I checked the changlog for 9.3.2 but don't see obvious references to this
being fixed.

Ideas?
