DNS Global LB

Outside of Googling, does anyone have any specific reference material for
Global LB DNS.
 Specifically for mulitisite use:
 Development offices in 4-7 locations
Corp offices in 5 locations
Colo facilities in 4 sites, all hosting several 1000 client websites
 Would like to do all of this w/ a *nix os running bind 9*. Corp sites will
be M$ DNS, which will need updates/fwds from master servers. Colo facilities
Local LB will be handled through hardware, but would like to have
authoritative DNS servers independent. Colo facilities would need to
incorporate design plans for several DMZ forwarding areas, or one way
transfers, thus master-slave-fwdonly structure designs would be a huge plus
