Does a zone file specify its domain name?

Good point about the multiple identical domains.

However, I see that SOA records do begin with an ORIGIN, but you can use
"@" instead of a domain. In the case of your using "@", is the ORIGIN set
by virtue of the zone reference in named.conf?

Thanks.
