I have seen a number of replies, but none that had these two points:
1) When you started 9.3.2, what messages were written to syslog?
If there were any problems, message(s) should have been written.
2) You have fallen into a trap:

nslookup is NOT a debugging tool (unless, maybe, you use the -debug
flag). Use "dig", as it formats the DNS response packet and tells
you exactly what is in each section therein.
